Social TV Experiment Update: Q2

As we continue our Social TV Experiment, we’re looking to finalize the behavioral based screener for the up-coming lab days and finalize the discussion guide for the interviews that will take place in mid-May. We’ll share the screener here on the blog next week.  Through this next round of research, we will:

  • Analyze the targeted persona research interviews;
  • Complete the industry’s product and service competitive landscape assessment;
  • Finalize the personas and
  • Map social TV products and services back to the personas.

At this point, our fictitious client, SportsGuy Media, Inc. (SGMI), wants to begin some ideation exercises. Based on the first round of research, the SGMI and User Insight teams feel that there are other product possibilities, aside from a fantasy sports application.

What experiences have you had with brainstorming to create new product ideas?

Tomorrow, we’ll introduce Big Bang, an Atlanta-based multidisciplinary product development consultancy, and discuss how SGMI will use their ideation process to come up with the next big idea in Social TV!
